Data protection contact
Monolitica provides a dedicated contact channel for data protection matters, given the nature of the intelligent agents, automations, dashboards, integrations and internal systems it develops with municipalities, local authorities and industrial companies. These projects may involve access to operational data about residents, employees or service users. The criteria for the mandatory designation of a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 GDPR are not met, so this channel is provided voluntarily and does not amount to a formal designation communicated to the CNPD. When a project requires it, we liaise directly with the client's Data Protection Officer.

Data subject rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing with significant effects (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). Complaints to the CNPD

Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
Monolitica carries out a formal DPIA before starting projects with processing operations likely to result in high risk (for example, sensitive data about residents or service users, large-scale profiling or automated decision-making systems), under Article 35 GDPR and the CNPD's guidelines (Regulation No. 1/2018). DPIAs are shared with the client as part of the contracting process, where applicable.
